Seminars for Artists and Musicians:
As
Create:Fixate expands its repertoire of activities, the organization
will present two informative seminars on copyright law next
month. On Wednesday, February 8, entertainment attorney
Henry Self leads a discussion on copyright law and
the music industry. The following evening, arts and entertainment
lawyer Matthew Swanlund presents a seminar
focused on the legal perspectives of the visual artists' creations.
Each will address topics such as what copyright law protects,
how and why to register copyrights, copyright licensing and
more. The discussions will provide real world, practical and
relevant information for all, with question and answer periods
to follow.
They
take place 7:30 to 9:00pm, 2/8 & 2/9, at Spring Arts Tower,
453 S. Spring Street, Mezzanine, Downtown Los Angeles 90013.
Tuition is $30 per seminar or $50 for both. To reserve your
spot, please contact andrea@createfixate.com.
