Create:Fixate is excited for the 5th Annual All Photography show “Backscatter II” scheduled for July 12th, 2008 at their new downtown location. Jason Elias, who has been the guest curator every year for this event says “I am very excited about this year’s show and really feel (as I seem to believe each year) that Create:Fixate’s All Photography Exhibit continues to draw even greater talent than any show before”. Elias also explains, “The theme of this year’s Backscatter Photography Show is curated around the basic meditative practice of awareness, the artists selected for work that brings a unique and personal perspective to a sense of simply seeing things as they are”. The event will include all photographic mediums and interactive photo projects for attending guests. Create:Fixate will also join forces with Venice Arts by featuring several of their students work in the Backscatter II exhibit.
